Softball Game Preview: Quitman Bulldogs vs. Eustace Bulldogs

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Quitman has given up an average of 10.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Quitman is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Edgewood, falling 22-5.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Eustace was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to Edgewood. Eustace hasn't had much luck with Edgewood recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Eustace saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Quitman's record now sits at 3-9. As for Eustace, their record now sits at 5-9.

Quitman took their win against Eustace in their previous meeting back in April of 2018 by a conclusive 12-5. Does Quitman have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eustace turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
