Clearwater won the last time they faced Winfield and things went their way on Friday too. The Clearwater Indians breezed by the Winfield Vikings to the tune of 50-23. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Vikings are ranked 298th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clearwater has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Winfield, they dropped their record down to 0-12-1 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Clearwater will challenge El Dorado on February 14th. As for Winfield, they will take on Rose Hill on Tuesday.
