Meanwhile, the third road match was the charm for Kearsley, as they earned their first road win of the season. They secured a 55-50 W over Notre Dame Prep on Thursday. The 55-point effort marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Port Huron's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Kearsley, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2.
