Mike Ritterbeck gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2024 on Monday. Despite the defeat, he was still locked in as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.

Even though Ritterbeck couldn't lead Fairless over Tuslaw, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Ritterbeck's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Falcons' four-game streak of wins on the road.
