Volleyball Game Preview: New Bern Bears vs. Overhills Jaguars

The New Bern Bears will take on the Overhills Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. New Bern is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

New Bern lost 3-0 to D.H. Conley on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-15, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Overhills came into Thursday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Pine Forest by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

While Overhills might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Pine Forest scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 15-25, 25-18, 25-18.

Overhills' victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for New Bern, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
