Baseball Recap: Washington Hatchets vs. Tecumseh Braves
If Washington was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Loogootee on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hatchets fell 8-5 to the Tecumseh Braves on Thursday. The Hatchets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Trey James put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
