Baseball Recap: Golda Och Academy Comes Up Short

Golda Och Academy extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 3-3 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Side Red Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Golda Och Academy has suffered since April 11, 2024.

As for East Side, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.

For East Side's part, the team relied heavily on Jhoan Ventura, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave Ventura a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelvin Ramos, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
