            Soccer Recap: Bessemer City vs. East Burke        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Lincolnton, Bessemer City was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  5-2 margin over the East Burke Cavaliers. The high-scoring effort was just what Bessemer City needed considering they were shut out in their previous   match.
They hit East Burke with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from  Ricardo Hernandez (2),  Christopher Torres,  Yair Avila,  and  Brayan Perez.
The  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3-1. As for East Burke, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Looking ahead, Bessemer City will welcome West Lincoln  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bessemer City's defense better be ready for this one: West Lincoln have averaged an impressive 4  goals per game this season. As for East Burke, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Freedom at 6:00  p.m.  on September 8.
