Football Recap: Whitehorse Raiders vs. St. Joseph Jayhawks
Whitehorse couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 41-8 loss at the hands of the St. Joseph Jayhawks.
Gunner Windsor had an outrageously good game for St. Joseph as he rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.
Whitehorse will head out on the road to square off against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Whitehorse is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for St. Joseph, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Monument Valley at 6:00 p.m.
