Volleyball Recap: Traders Point Christian Has No Trouble Against Kokomo

The Traders Point Christian Knights got the win against the Kokomo Wildkats on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Traders Point Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-23.

Jakson Jones paced Traders Point Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Jones got some help from Carlos Gallardo-Lopez and his seven assists. Jones also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Quentin Jones, racking up four apiece.

Traders Point Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Kokomo, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18-1.

Looking ahead, Traders Point Christian will welcome Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Kokomo and Peru will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
