Severance entered their tilt with Forge Christian on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Fury with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Severance was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-16.

Matt Zenger paced Severance's offense, picking up 12 kills. Zenger got some help from Gabe Schneekloth and his 28 assists. Schneekloth was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Severance's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Forge Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Severance has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Arrupe Jesuit on the 10th. As for Forge Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against DSST: Conservatory Green on the 14th.
