Baseball Recap: Scott Central Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Scott Central kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Morton Panthers, falling 13-1. The Rebels have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Scott Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was K Butler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scott Central will challenge Sebastopol at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Morton, they will take on Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
