Softball Recap: Riverside University/Meir Takes a Loss

Riverside University/Meir saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 13-4 to the Madison La Follette Lancers. Riverside University/Meir has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Briana Gray made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Riverside University/Meir's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Madison La Follette, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Riverside University/Meir has already played their next contest, a 19-0 loss against Oconto on the 12th. As for Madison La Follette, they will welcome Middleton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Lancers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
