Volleyball Recap: Parkway North Vikings vs. Parkway Central Colts
Parkway North and Parkway Central squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Parkway North had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 7th.

Despite the loss, Parkway North saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hannah Schrumpf had 11 digs. Schrumpf has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkway Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Smith, who had eight digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Tessa Wall, who had eight digs and three assists.
Parkway North has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for Parkway Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-11-2.
Parkway North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parkway Central, they will square off against Burroughs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
