Volleyball Recap: Sabetha Comes Up Short

Sabetha lost against Holton on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bluejays fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

While Sabetha was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Holton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Faith Olberding, who had ten assists and five digs.

Sabetha has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-28-1 record this season. As for Holton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-8.

Sabetha has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Jackson Heights on the 11th. As for Holton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hiawatha on the 11th.
