King barely beat Poly the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves breezed past the Bears to the tune of 31-3 on Saturday. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Bears are ranked 420th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Colton* Zeen, who rushed for 98 yards and one score, and also threw for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Mark* Cadena was in the mix too, providing King with one TD.

The victory made it two in a row for King and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points in those games. As for Poly, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

King didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 49-7 defeat against Murrieta Valley on the 19th. As for Poly, they have also already played their next matchup, a 34-6 loss against Ramona on the 19th.
