Morristown posted their closest victory since April 2nd on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vernon Vikings, sneaking past 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on April 3rd.

The win made it two in a row for Morristown and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Vernon, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Morristown will square off against rival Jefferson Township at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Vernon is set to challenge their familiar foe Sparta at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
