Volleyball Recap: Saint Andrew's Finds Home Court Redemption Against Boca Raton

There's no place like home for Saint Andrew, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Boca Raton Bobcats by a score of 3-1 on Monday. For the Scots, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 24-27, 25-12, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Kiersten Rodholm, who had six digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (16). Sophia Turgeon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Saint Andrew's was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Saint Andrew's now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Boca Raton, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Saint Andrew's didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against St. John Paul II Academy on the 16th. As for Boca Raton, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Jupiter on the 16th.
