Zane Bourque put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Tuesday. He struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Bourque couldn't lead Arp over Gladewater, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers haven't beaten the Bears recently, having gone 0-5 since April of 2019.
