Football Game Preview: Omak Pioneers vs. Cascade Kodiaks

The Omak Pioneers will square off against the Cascade Kodiaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Omak comes in on four and Cascade on three.

Omak is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Chelan: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Pioneers blew the Mountain Goats out of the water with a 63-22 final score. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won four matchups by 31 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Cascade got themselves on the board against Medical Lake on Friday, but Medical Lake never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cardinals 41-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Kodiaks just coasted through the last quarter.

Cascade now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Omak, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Omak against Cascade when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 40-9 win. Will the Pioneers repeat their success, or do the Kodiaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
