Baseball Recap: Springville Takes a Loss

Springville lost against Union back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Springville Red Devils took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Cougars. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hugh Redd, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That run marked the first that Redd scored this season.

Springville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Union, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Coming up, Springville will square off against Riverton at 9:00 a.m. on March 21st. As for Union, they will face off against Spanish Fork at 1:30 p.m. on March 21st.
