Basketball Recap: West Liberty Comes Up Short

West Liberty lost against Benton back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The West Liberty Comets fell to the Benton Bobcats 35-30. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Benton, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

West Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-36 loss against Regina on the 11th. As for Benton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 57-26 defeat against Center Point-Urbana on the 11th.
