Basketball Recap: Redwater Takes a Loss

If Redwater was feeling good fresh off their 59-39 takedown of De Kalb on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redwater Dragons were outmatched by the Clarksville Tigers and fell 60-33. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden McClain, who posted 13 points and five boards. Kobi Johnson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Redwater now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Clarksville, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Redwater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-46 win against Detroit on the 27th. As for Clarksville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 89-39 defeat against Farmersville on the 27th.
