Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy Academy). They came out on top against the Socorro Warriors by a score of 54-42 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Silverbacks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Legacy Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Briley Boll, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 boards. Boll has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaleigh Carrasco, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.

Legacy Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Legacy Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Socorro, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Legacy Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 36-33 victory against Cottonwood Classical Prep on the 4th. As for Socorro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-41 defeat against Mesilla Valley Christian School on the 4th.
