Basketball Recap: University School Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

University School lost to Riverside back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The University School Preppers secured a 75-69 W over the Riverside Beavers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Preppers.

Several Beavers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drew Brown, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Durkin, who went 6 of 11 to rack up 15 points and three steals.

University School pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.

Coming up, University School will venture away from home to challenge St. Edward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they will welcome Chardon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.7 points per game this season.
