Basketball Recap: East Moline United Takes a Loss

East Moline United was the 64-33 winner over Rochelle when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The East Moline United Panthers took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rochelle Hubs on Friday. The defeat leaves the Panthers without a win on the season.

East Moline United's record now sits at 0-13. As for Rochelle, the win snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 4-10 record.

East Moline United and Rochelle could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. East Moline United (ranked 523rd) will meet Rockford Christian (ranked 243rd) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Rochelle (ranked 400th) will meet Alleman (ranked 43rd) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
