Basketball Recap: Steinert Find Success

Steinert won the last time they faced South Hunterdon and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans escaped with a win against the Eagles by the margin of a single free throw, 50-49.

Steinert's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for South Hunterdon, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Steinert will challenge West Windsor-Plainsboro North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for South Hunterdon, they will face off against Manville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
