Linganore gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 59-49 win over the Walkersville Lions. This was payback for the Lancers, who suffered a 56-46 loss the last time these two teams met.

Linganore's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taylor Rosario, who posted ten points and six steals. Brandon Rosario was another key player, shooting 56% from the field en route to 10 points.

Walkersville is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Linganore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-39 defeat against Seneca Valley on the 15th. As for Walkersville, they have also already played their next game, a 59-58 victory against Brunswick on the 15th.
