Softball Recap: East Columbus Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Columbus put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 22-6 margin over the West Bladen Knights. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Kamora Bryant was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Skylah Collins, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

East Columbus hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

East Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for West Bladen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

East Columbus wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-13 defeat against North Brunswick on the 4th. As for West Bladen, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against East Columbus on the 6th.
