Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wawasee). Everything went their way against the West Noble Chargers on Saturday as they made off with a 25-10 victory. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 6-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Luke Lehman was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyhan Heisler, who went 4-for-6 with six RBI, three runs, and one double.

Wawasee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .557. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Wawasee's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-18. As for West Noble, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wawasee beat the Chargers by a score of 10-7 later that day.
