Basketball Game Preview: Forest Park Trojans vs. North Dickinson Nordics

The Forest Park Trojans will venture away from home to take on the North Dickinson Nordics at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Forest Park has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Forest Park is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 74-14 victory over Rapid River. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, North Dickinson humbled North Central with a 55-17 victory. The Nordics have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 36 points or more this season.

North Dickinson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Forest Park, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Forest Park and North Dickinson were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but Forest Park came up empty-handed after a 45-44 defeat. Can Forest Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
