Volleyball Recap: Orland Starts Season with Win at Home

Orland gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the Central Valley Falcons 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-7, 25-19.

Orland can attribute much of their success to Addison Ovard, who had seven digs and two aces.

Ovard wasn't the only good server: Orland was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Looking ahead, Orland will be playing in front of their home fans against Lassen at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Valley, they will square off against Fall River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
