While Dwight didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They won by a set and slipped past the Leland Panthers 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dwight got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 18-25, 25-22.

Dwight's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Leland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Dwight will welcome Putnam County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leland, they will head out on the road to face off against Hinckley-Big Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
