Basketball Recap: Pettus' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Pettus came into Tuesday's game having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Woodsboro Eagles by a score of 53-46 on Tuesday. This was payback for Pettus, who suffered a 78-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-14. As for Woodsboro, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pettus will challenge Three Rivers at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodsboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Refugio at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
