Madison has gone 8-1 against Corydon Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Madison didn't have quite enough to beat Columbus East and fell 3-2.

Madison took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-20, 20-25, 25-20, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Corydon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Borden, falling 3-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Borden scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-23.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Corydon Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-22.

Madison took their win against Corydon Central in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Cubs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
