Softball Recap: George-Little Rock Comes Up Short

George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-4 to the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 on Friday.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. George-Little Rock will face off against rival West Sioux at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
