There's no place like home for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past Haynes Academy 9-0 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Ashtyn Rogers made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy let Hayden Williamson and Layla Lahr run wild. Williamson scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Lahr scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Williamson a new career-high in RBI (three). Adeline Alcantar was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
