Soccer Recap: Hempstead Comes Up Short

Hempstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Harmony School of Innovation Mustangs.

Hempstead's record is now 2-8-1. As for Harmony School of Innovation, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Hempstead will take on Bellville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hempstead is facing Bellville at the right time seeing as Bellville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Royal at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Royal knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Harmony School of Innovation likes a good challenge.
