Sentinel has gone 9-1 against Hellgate recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sentinel is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Helena, who was ranked 24th at the time (Sentinel was ranked 22nd). The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bengals last Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Hellgate got the win against Flathead on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Braves/Bravettes: they've now won four in a row.

While Hellgate might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Flathead scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-19.

Hellgate found their leader in sophomore Ellison Hogan, who had 21 digs and two assists.

The win got Sentinel back to even at 11-11. As for Hellgate, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Sentinel suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Hellgate in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
