Albertville posted their closest victory since August 30th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Plainview Bears. This was a revenge game for the Aggies: when they faced off against the Bears back in August, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

The victory snapped Albertville's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-12 record. As for Plainview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-10.

Coming up, Albertville will host Guntersville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Plainview, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sardis on the 27th.
