Basketball Recap: DeKalb Comes Up Short

DeKalb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Osborn Wildcats, falling 83-20. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 63-15 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

DeKalb's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Osborn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

DeKalb wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 83-20 defeat against Stewartsville on the 17th. Osborn will take on Rock Port in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
