Notus took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the Idaho City Wildcats 18-7. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Cierra Norris was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Victoria Zamora, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Coming up, Notus will host Greenleaf Friends Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Idaho City, they will face off against Glenns Ferry at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
