Softball Preview: Kennard-Dale Rams vs. Penn Manor Comets
The Kennard-Dale Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Penn Manor Comets at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Penn Manor took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kennard-Dale, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Kennard-Dale needed a bit of extra time to put away North Harford. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 17-3 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Taylor Rinaudo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Kennard-Dale let Maddie Argiro and Aurora Schwab run wild. Meanwhile, Penn Manor fell victim to Central Dauphin and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
