Basketball Recap: Los Alamos Comes Up Short

After flying high against Moriarty last Tuesday, Los Alamos came back down to earth. The Los Alamos Hilltoppers took a hard 50-35 fall against the Espanola Valley Sundevils on Thursday. The Hilltoppers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sundevils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Los Alamos' loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Espanola Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Taos the next time they take the court. Los Alamos will head out to face Taos at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Espanola Valley will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
