Volleyball Recap: Mary Star of the Sea Comes Up Short on the Road Against Sacred Heart of Jesus

Mary Star of the Sea kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

While Mary Star of the Sea had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-19.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mary Star of the Sea will challenge St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they will head out to challenge Immaculate Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
