Marquette came out on top against Westwood on Thursday thanks in part to Ian Sheltrow's efforts. The Patriots had no answer to Sheltrow as he got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Sheltrow is becoming a predictor of Marquette's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Sheltrow and Marquette will face off against Houghton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
