It was a good run, but Arp unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Beckville Bearcats. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bearcats from their previous meeting back in August of 2015.

Landry Langley paced Arp's offense, picking up two kills. Langley really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with three.

Arp's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Beckville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Arp didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against New Diana on the 30th. As for Beckville, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against West Rusk on the 30th.
