Volleyball Recap: Oconee County Falls Despite Big Games from Sidney Tranel and Annabelle (AB) Cureton

Oconee County was the 2-1 winner over North Forsyth when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Raiders on Thursday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oconee County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Annabelle (AB) Cureton, who had eight digs, and Sidney Tranel, who had nine digs and one assist.

Oconee County now has a losing record of 1-2.

Oconee County has already played their next game (against Jackson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Forsyth, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Westminster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
