Basketball Recap: Searcy Comes Up Short

Searcy was the 57-28 winner over Jacksonville when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell 48-37 to the Titans on Tuesday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Searcy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Jacksonville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Searcy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nettleton at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2026. As for Jacksonville, they will take on Parkview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
