Bishop Guilfoyle made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bishop Carroll, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Marauders were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Huskies on Wednesday. The Marauders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Bishop Guilfoyle's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Bishop Carroll, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Guilfoyle will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hollidaysburg at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Bishop Carroll, they will head out to take on Bald Eagle Area at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
